In order for your living wall to thrive and survive, the plants need to be well suited for their location. Our Signature Plant Collections are designed and categorized for specific types of environment, so you can be sure that you are choosing the best collection for your specific conditions.

We first break down the environment into two broad categories of INDOOR or OUTDOOR situations.

INDOOR

Indoor environments can differ based on the following factors:

Light level

Indoor High LightHigh light - direct sun exposure through a window for much of the day

Indoor Medium LightMedium light - indirect sunlight through a window for much of the day
Indoor Low LightLow light - indirect sunlight through a window for part of the day

Humidity level

Indoor High HumidityHigh humidity - higher than average humidity in the home
Indoor Low HumidityLow humidity - dry air in the home

OUTDOOR

Outdoor environments can differ based on the following factors:

Outdoor Full SunFull sun - plants are exposed to sunshine for most of the day
Outdoor Part Sun/Part ShadePart sun/part shade - plants are exposed to sunshine for part of the day or to partial sunshine for most of the day
Outdoor Full ShadeFull shade - plants are in the shade for most of the day (possibly on a patio wall)
